Juanita Holliday Lewis, 88, passed away on July 11, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond, MS with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Juanita was born on December 4, 1932 at the Shelton House. She lived in Raymond, MS until she married John Tipton Lewis. They resided in Jackson until 1980 and moved back to Raymond. She was an avid gardener and leading daylily grower in Mississippi. She enjoyed working in her yard and would rather be outside than inside.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tipton Lewis; her parents, Shelton and Violet Holliday; her brother, Shelton Lee Holliday; her brother, Beau Holliday; her sister, Peggy Holliday Rice; and her brother, Maurice Holliday.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Vaught and Pamela Ferguson; her grandchildren, Sam Vaught, Rebecca Moore and Hannah Grace; her great grandchildren, Hayes Vaught, Ollie Vaught, Peyton Moore, Josh Moore and Taylor Moore; her brother, Sidney Holliday; and her sister, Sharon Robinson.
