Obituary

Juanice Akins Tario went home to be with Jesus on December 13, 2021 at the age of 94.

Juanice was born to George and Sally Akins in Pontotoc, MS. She was raised in Canton MS where she met the love of her life, Paul, while he was stationed in Flora with the Army. They were married on June 22,1945 in Washington DC. They had two children and lived in Jackson for approximately 20 years and then moved to Clinton Ms. She retired from Bell South telephone company and continued to work part time at MC College and Walmart in Clinton. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. She was a kind, caring, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to share her love for Christ with all she knew. Once you met her, she was definitely one you would remember.

She is survived by her children; Sharon Simmons of Raymond MS; Tim (Marilyn) Tario of Lakeland Florida; four granddaughters, Charlotte (Sid) Dinsmore of Canton, MS, Michelle (Joe) Witherington of Lakeland, Florida, Amanda (Daniel) of Los Gatos, California, and Amber (Michael) Gudas of Seattle, Washington; five great grandchildren, Colt and Cade Farrer, Michael Witherington, Cora and Xavi Gudas; and one great great-grandchild, Joseph Witherington.
