Joyce (Gibson) Horne, 88, of Clinton, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. Born December 18, 1936, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Frank and Mildred Gibson, Joyce graduated from Newton High School in 1955. She married Charles E. Horne, her lifelong love, and they raised four children at Parkway Baptist Church, fostering their faith in Christ.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty. She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Debbie Lenoir (Jon), Greg Horne (Eva), Ronnie Horne (Denise), and Wayne Horne (Jennifer); ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Joyce gave her life to Christ at a young age, cherishing family holidays at their Jasper County farm and travels, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains. She lived with faith in Christ's promise (John 14:2-3).

Funeral services will be held November 3, 2025, at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS, with visitation at 9:30 AM, service at 11:00 AM, and graveside service at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery 9998 Eastside Dr Ext Drive Newton, MS. All friends are welcome to join the family at the graveside service.
