John G. Danos

John Danos, 59, passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

John was truly a light to all who knew him. He had a way of walking into a room and never leaving as a stranger. His warm personality, kind heart, and genuine love for people allowed him to make friends wherever he went. To know John was to love him, and his presence brought joy to so many lives.

John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kelley Musgrove Danos; his daughter, Ana Maria West(Justin West SR); his stepchildren, Lacey Musgrove, Brandi Musgrove, Summer Arnold, and Dylan Arnold; and his 12 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and the love he had for each of them will continue to live on through the memories they all shared. He was the kind of grandfather that was a sucker for the kids and they all knew it!

Born and raised in Louisiana, John later made his home in Mississippi, where he and his wife, Kelley built their life together. The two of them shared many years together, building a life filled with family, laughter, and countless memories. Kelley was by John’s side through the ups and downs of life, and their time together meant the world to him. No matter where life took them, Kelley was always the person John wanted beside him, and their love will remain one of the most special parts of his life.

John worked offshore with MMR for many years. During that time, he built friendships that became much more than friendships to him. He was deeply loved by his coworkers and cherished the time and relationships he made throughout his years offshore. The relationships built beyond his home were a true testament to the person John was.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Lois Danos, his sister, Robin Boulas and step daughter Miranda Brooke Musgrove.

Though his passing was unexpected, the love John gave so freely will never be forgotten.
