Joe Udell Ainsworth, Jr., 58, passed away on January 14, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5 to 8pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home.
Joe was a loving, caring, thoughtful man and had the kindest of hearts. Joe had one son and 4 nieces that he loved very much, and they in turn loved him very much. Joe always enjoyed spending time with his family. A big kid himself, he was willing to watch whatever movies, play whatever games, and stay up as late as the girls and his son Chad wanted him to. As everyone grew up, he was still generous with his time and willing to help with anything ranging from algebra homework to working on projects around the house. He had a passion for cooking, Star Trek, and his family. He was a Sunday school teacher, and loved the Lord with all his might. He also loved for his yard to look good. You could often find him there sprucing up the flower beds and working on projects. You could always find Joe trying to make jokes, and making everyone one laugh by brightening the day.
As Chad and the nieces got older, he would play a monumental role in their lives. He taught them life lessons, and was there for them regardless of the situation. They had so many great adventures and memories together that will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife Reda Ainsworth of Clinton; son Chad Ainsworth (Haley) of Raymond; nieces Melanie, Meredith, Jennifer, and Angela; great nieces, Payton, and Kylee; and great nephews Bailey and Ross.
