Jo Ann Henderson Kling, 76, passed from this life into the arms of the Savior on Thursday, September 15, 2022, surrounded by her adoring family at her home in Miami, Florida. Visitation will be 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday, September 19th at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, Mississippi. Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel with a family burial service in Lakewood South Cemetery.

Jo Ann, known to her granddaughters and to many others as "Jo Jo," retired from Packard Electric Company, a division of General Motors, after an accomplished career as a financial analyst and manufacturing supervisor.  On September 16, 2021, she moved from her longtime home in Clinton to Miami to be with her son, Cliff Kling, daughter-in-law, Heather Kling, and her two granddaughters, Ainsley and Alise.  She, her son, her "daughter she didn't have to birth," and her "precious girls" cherished their time together over the last year.

Other survivors include her sister, Ouida Alford and husband Edwin of Brandon; nephew Lee Alford and wife Dana of Madison, AL and their children Alexandria and Charlotte; and niece Leslie Tatum and husband Scott of Clinton and their children Jacob and Caleb.  The family expresses deep gratitude to Marilda Mostafa, Jo Jo's "earth angel," for the care and love she provided in these final months.
