Jimmy L. Rogers, age 76, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, after a brief illness.  He was surrounded by his loved ones at his passing.  Jim was the son of James and Ann Rogers.

Jim was born in Fayette, Alabama on March 30, 1948.  He graduated from Iuka High School and later Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration.  He was employed by Spartan Food Systems and Beverly Health Care for many years.  In April 2000, Jim and his wife, Karen, opened Monroe's Restaurant in Clinton, Mississippi.  In March 2010, Jim retired to spend time with his family.

Jim was married to Karen Belue Rogers for over 39 years and had one daughter, Sarah.  Jim loved his family and the time they spent together.  He loved being outdoors fishing and riding in his boat.  Jim was outgoing and enjoyed talking with people.  He was known for smiling and his light humor.  Jim's passion for having "man's best friend" was evident in the many dogs he called his own through the years:  Porchia, Max, Nick, and Maisy.

Jim's life will be honored in a Private Family Ceremony Tuesday, February 4, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
