James "Jimmy" W. Chiles, III, 65, entered his heavenly home on April 4, 2026, surrounded by his family. Jimmy was a devoted husband, father, and friend whose steadfast faith and strong, protective spirit shaped every life he touched. He lived boldly — loyal, outspoken, and always ready to stand up for the people he loved.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leslie (Lewis) Chiles, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage, and by his parents, James William Chiles Jr. and Estelle Chiles.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Jamie and Haley Chiles, the pride and joy of his life.

He is also survived by his brother, Larry Chiles (Nancy) of Clarksdale, MS; his sister, Janice Franks (David) of Mantachie; several cousins he loved like siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to Jimmy.

A lover of the outdoors, he spent many years hunting with his brother and cousins and hosting friends on the family farm. He found joy in fishing local lakes with family and friends — especially with his great‑niece, who lovingly called him "Big Time."

Jimmy built a respected career in agricultural sales across North MS and AL, known for his integrity, dedication, and big heart. He lived out his faith daily and held tightly to the truth of 2 Timothy 3:16.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Morrison Heights Baptist Church, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm – 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery.
