Mae Gaggini, 94, of Brandon, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025.

Born in McCool, Mississippi, the daughter of Jessie and Maggie Cummins, Mae lived a long and vibrant life filled with grace and joy. She was especially passionate about ballroom dancing, a love that brought her countless friendships and cherished memories over the years. Foremost though, Mae loved her family with all her heart.

Mae met and married Al Gaggini in Chicago in 1953. They remained married until Al's death in 2010.

Mae is survived by her beloved daughter, Sandy Young and husband Frank; and two beloved granddaughters, Andrea O'Herron (Devin) and Allie Gaggini (Vinnie) and great grandsons Vaughn and Emerson O'Herron. She also leaves behind her devoted watch of four border collies—Blue, Bonnie, Prince, and Mu􀆯y—who brought her daily companionship and joy.

Mae was preceded in death by her six siblings, husband Al and son Jerry.

Mae will be fondly remembered for her beauty, elegance and loving nature—a true Southern Belle.

A graveside service honoring Mae's life will be held at Lakeland Place Memorial Park at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
