Jerry Gould, aged 72, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jerry lived his life with strength, tenacity, and a deep love for his family.

Born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1953. After his service in the Marines, he built a hardworking career working on offshore oil rigs — a demanding role that reflected his tireless work ethic and fearless nature.

Beyond his professional life, Jerry loved to cook — delighting others with his meals and sharing hospitality with all, he enjoyed watching football, and was a devoted animal lover, always showing kindness and care.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Ruth Putnam. He is survived by his daughter, Alissia Day; his grandsons, Cameron Gould and Sabastian Sanders; his sisters, Charlotte Denson and Virginia Snyder; his brothers, Allan Gould and Mike Putnam; and several nieces and nephews who will hold his memory close in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Edwards Cemetery, Edwards, Mississippi. Family and friends are invited to join in celebration of his life and memory.
