Jeanette "Jinx" Donohoe Peters, 98, died Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be Saturday, September 30th at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton, MS beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. We request flower gifts be sent to the church.

Mrs. Peters was born February 7, 1925 to parents Hugh Joseph and Mary Haffey Donohoe of Camden, MS. She was married to the love of her life, Bernard Philip Peters for 45 years, until his death in 1999. She is also preceded in death by her 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include sons Louis Peters of Atlanta, GA, and George Peters of Jackson, MS; daughters Linda Peters McCulley of Russellville, AR, Angela Peters and Donnie Peters of Clinton, MS. She is also survived by her grandchildren David and Amy McCulley, Katherine Peters, Mark Meaut, Sean Peters, Mary Christine Hart-Marchant, Jonathan Peters, and Tyler Peters. Also 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Peters was a founding member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Jackson, MS, she worked tirelessly on numerous committees and projects for many years. She is a current member of Holy Savior in Clinton, MS.
