Janice Bell Simmons, born November 14, 1953, in Memphis, TN passed away surrounded by family on November 9, 2019 at age 65.
Janice was a beloved God-fearing matriarch that was very young at heart. She travelled all over the country with her husband Billy, oftentimes inviting family along. Janice loved being on the water, whether it was boating, or sitting on the beach listening to the waves. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and the Smokey Mountains...... always looking forward to the next adventure. Janice is best remembered for her infectious smile, her love of family, Christmas and everything Elvis.
She is survived by husband, Billy Simmons, son, Paul Wayne Boyd (Lisa), grandsons, Jordan Robert Boyd (Jamie) and Brett Wayne Boyd. Great grandchildren,
Sara Alexis Boyd, Remi Amaya Boyd, and Oliver Felix Boyd. Sister, Kathy Lynn Byrd (Doolie) and brother, Johnny Edward Thomas Bertrand (Karen). Nephews, Jonathan Siler (Krista), Chad Freeman (Melissa), Steven Bertrand and Daniel Bertrand as well as a niece, Tara Bertrand.
She is preceded in death by parents, "JB" Bates and Carolyn "Maxine" Bertrand.
