James Oran (Jim) Webber, 65, passed away July 19, 2022 after a short illness. A graveside service will be held by his family at Lakewood Cemetery on Friday July 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Jim was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and moved with his family to Jackson where he began elementary school. He graduated from Callaway High School in Jackson and completed a business degree and a Master's in Business Administration from Mississippi College. He then earned a degree in law from the University of Mississippi.

Jim worked for USF&G and AIG in Claims and later with Shell Oil in Real Estate and Acquisition. He later worked in private practice with several law firms before opening his own private practice.

Jim enjoyed fishing and swapping jokes with friends and neighbors.

Above all else, he loved his family. His sense of humor and supportive personality made him a welcome presence at any gathering. Jim will be missed by friends and family alike.
