James Steven Safigan, 82, of Clinton, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Holy Savior Catholic Church from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral mass.

Mr. Safigan was born on February 13, 1939 in Caldwell, Ohio. Jim worked for General Electric and G&O Manufacturing as a quality engineer before retirement. He was very active in his church and the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed using his handyman skills, helping others, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Safigan and Helen Kolenich Safigan and brother, Andrew Safigan.

Mr. Safigan is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna Safigan; children, Steven (Jamie) Safigan of Rome, Georgia, Sandra (Chris) Halliwell of Clinton, and Brian (Carla) Safigan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters Mary Lou Lori and Joan Jackson of Caldwell, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
