James Thaddeus Richard of Utica, MS passed away on August 31, 2023 surrounded by his family.

James, fondly known as "Rick", was born to James Clarance and Roma Richard on September 25, 1946 in Church Point, LA. He served 22 years and retired with the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Hospital Corpman.

James is survived by his wife Rose S.N. Richard and two children and their spouses, Belinda and Wayne Borja and Jesse Charfauros.

Also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandsons, Tracey Rose Brewer(deceased), Lia Rose Naputi and Paul Ocasio, Tiffani Rose Charfauros and Caleb Baucum, Breanna and Mason Johnson, Makenzie Charfauros, Adrianne Richard, Christopher and Rachel Richard, Lorenzo Naputi Ocasio (Great Grandson) and Luke Baucum (Great Grandson).

Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Paula Richard, Jana Aranda, Guy Richard, Jude Richard, Anne Richard and Cathy Frye.

The family will host a funeral mass service on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00AM. The service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 232 Main Street, Raymond, MS 39154.
