James Durwood "J.D." Thompson, 89, passed away on October 13, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be held for friends at 10:00 am on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, MS followed by a chapel service at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. The burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday at the New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron, MS.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bonnie Thompson; two daughters, Candy Parcell and Kay Montalbano (Joe); four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
