Jacob Christopher Newell (29) was called home November 21st, 2020 to be with our Lord. He was born March 28th, 1991 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Jacob is survived by his son and love of his life Mason Newell; his parents, Larry and Anneita Newell; brother, Justin (Leslie) Newell; sister, Natalie (Elliot) Owen; grandparents, Leck and Patricia Bond; nephews, Austin Ishee and Brantley Newell; and nieces, Addison Newell and Alice Newell.

Jacob attended Raymond High School and earned his degree from Hinds Community College School of Radiology. He worked at Baptist Medical Center as a Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist. He loved all things outdoors: hunting, fishing, and camping, especially with his son, Mason. Jacob enjoyed working out at the gym, riding his four-wheeler, and playing his guitar every chance he got.

His kind spirit and smile were his essence and to know Jake was to love him. He loved life and lived every day to the fullest. Always full of stories and light, we will carry his memory in our hearts for a lifetime.
