Jackie Weir Trim of Ridgeland, MS passed into Heaven on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of 65 after a three year battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Jackie was the second born of Charles Ray and Sammie Jo Weir of Jackson, MS, on September 2, 1957. Jackie grew up in west Jackson. She graduated from Provine High School in 1974. She graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science and a nursing degree in 1979 and 1992, respectively.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael George Trim and her father Charles Ray Weir. She is survived by her mother, Sammie Jo Weir; her son Dr. Wes Trim (wife Amy); her step-daughter Christy (husband Wes Flynt); her grandchildren Jacob (wife Sarah), McKay, Anna Claire, Allie; her great grandchildren Eli and Landon Trim; sister Regina Brock (husband Craig); her brother Charles "Bubba" Weir (wife Kathy); her sister-in-law Rachel Arender; and her nephews: Joey Brock (wife Kelly), Josh Brock, Tyler Weir (wife Kaylyn), and Blake Weir (wife Courtney).

Services for Jackie Weir Trim will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at First United Methodist Church in Ridgeland, MS 39157. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and memorial service at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow.
