Ivy Weldon Whitmire's Obituary
Ivy Weldon Whitmire, 81, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service at 11:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2014 all at First Baptist Church of Raymond. Burial will be at 3:00 pm Friday in Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Choctaw County.
Mr. Whitmire was an active member and a Deacon of First Baptist Church Raymond and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Trustmark National Bank as a Purchasing Agent.
Survivors include, his wife of 56 year, Betty Ann Whitmire of Raymond a son, Stephen Dewitt Whitmire and Wendy of Raymond a granddaughter, Rayna Nicole Whitmire his sister, Flora Whitmire Hunt and his nephews, Michael Whitmire Hunt and Lester Kenneth Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Raymond, Brotherhood Men and Women on Mission, P.O. Box 728, Raymond, MS 39154.
