Ivan Mark Rosamond passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. As a young adult, Mark worked as an Engineer Technician at Mississippi Valley Gas Company, where he met his wife, Sharon. Later, he served as Property Director at The Baptist Children's Village—a ministry that was especially important to him and his family.

Mark's hobby was restoring old cars, particularly Mustangs. This was a passion he not only enjoyed but excelled at. Over the years, he restored several cars, and his family shared in the excitement and pride of his accomplishments.

One of Mark's most notable strengths was his deep love for his children. Having a child with an undiagnosed illness was a difficult journey, but Mark faced that challenge with faith and determination. He was kind, caring, and steadfast—qualities that shone through every day of his life.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Patterson Rosamond. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children, Ivan Colton, Mikenzie, Keeley, and Madison; his mother, Ann Rosamond; and his siblings, Tim Rosamond and Marae (Jim) Rigby.

Words cannot express how much Mark will be missed. Our hearts are broken, and there is a hole that can never be filled. The only comfort we hold is knowing he is in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that we will see him again when that time comes.

Graveside service will be held in Vaiden, Mississippi, on Friday, October 24, at 11:00 a.m. for immediate family.
