Obituary

Hugh Grant Caradine, 99, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park South.

Mr. Caradine was born May 31, 1919 in West Point, Mississippi to Hugh G. Caradine, Sr. and Clara Naugle Caradine. He obtained rank of Sergeant in World War II in the United States Army's 327th Glider Infantry of the 101st Airborne serving in the European Theater of Operations. After the war, he started his career in furniture sales and management. He was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Caradine was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Jettie Bryant Caradine. He is survived by his daughters, Rosalyn Gray of Brandon and Jill Walsh (Wayne) of Raymond; grandchildren, Grant Gray, Mason Gray and William Everett; and great-grandchildren, Lane Gray, Cara Gray, Ridge Gray and Cole Gray.
