With much heartache and sadness, we share that Helen Virginia "Ginger" Fraiser Chambless, 75, of Pearl,MS passed from this life, November 15, 2021.
She is survived by her husband and love of her life of 42 years, Milton Chambless; her son, Stephen McLellan and wife Kati of Brandon, MS; her daughter, Jenny Chambless King and husband James of Pearl, MS; three grandchildren, Aaron McLellan and wife Kendall of Indianapolis, IN, Aubrey McLellan of Brandon, MS, and Grant McLellan of Brandon, MS; sister, Georgia Marie Smith of Titusville, FL; sister-in-law, Pat Moor Fraiser of Prairie Grove, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by parents Hulin Robert and George Mae "Babygirl" Eitel Fraiser and brother Hulin Robert "H.R." Fraiser, Jr.
Born July 2,1946, she grew up in Kosciusko, MS and then Jackson, MS where she was a graduate of Central High School. Ginger would go on to work more than 40 years for the State of MS at the Department of Human Services and later the Department of Corrections, making many enduring friendships through her years there.
She loved Elvis and the oldies, flowers and hummingbirds, baking for family holidays, retelling family stories, and traveling aimlessly about (and sometimes getting lost) the unexplored country roads and city streets with Milton; but mostly she liked spending her time with family and friends, near and far.
There wasn't anything Mama/Mamaw wouldn't do for her children and grandchildren, and she will be missed dearly by everyone close to her. "Love you bunches"
