Obituary

Hazel Marie (Roan) Trim, 88, beloved wife, mother, "MeeMee" and friend passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2018 in The Woodlands, TX. Hazel was born in Martin, Mississippi on January 24th, 1930 to Edward W. and Olivette Roan. She is preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers Edward Jr., Billy, and MacDougal, and her beloved husband, Aaron Riley Trim. She is survived in death by her two sons, Bradley Edward Trim of Panama City Beach, Florida, Aaron Russell Trim of Slidell, Louisiana, and one daughter, Teresa Denise Harrelson of Conroe, Texas. She also is survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. Mrs. Trim was a former resident of Clinton, Mississippi for 25 years, where she was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church. She moved to The Woodlands, Texas after the death of her husband in 2000.
Hazel was a military wife who spent decades traveling the world with her husband and her children. She lived in several different states and lived in Germany as well. Her life was full of experiences that most of us could only imagine. Thankfully, Hazel was somewhat of a novice photographer, documenting all of her travels and organizing the photos meticulously with dates and notations. These travels inspired her fabulous sense of style. She appreciated clothing and accessories so much that she would grab and feel any material that she could get her hands on.
Hazel took pride in her work for the American Red Cross as well as her relationships. If you were to ask her what her most significant accomplishment was, she would likely respond that it simply was her family. Hazel was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother imaginable. She was incredibly selfless, kind, and never had an ill thing to say of anyone or anything. She truly loved nothing more than her family. Nothing made her happier than spending time with everyone together, laughing, gathered around the dinner table or the Christmas tree. Her family and friends will deeply miss her, although they are thankful she is at rest with the Lord, her husband, and her family in heaven.
