Hazel Eugenia Newman Addison, 88, a retired registered nurse of Learned, died Friday, August 15, 2014, at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday at Learned United Methodist Church in Learned, MS. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 56:30 pm on Sunday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond and from 9:30 am until time of service on Monday at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Addison, her parents, Tom and Ethel Newman of Learned and a brother, Ira Newman of Knoxville, TN.
Survivors include two sons, Bill and Jerry Flo both of Learned and one daughter, Juliana Allard Dale of Flora a sister, Sue McNair of Raymond and brother Tom Newman of Bolton 8 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cisse and the staff of Serenity Premier Hospice for their care with special thanks to Diane Anderson and Melanie Tilden.
