Howard Allen "H.A." Lowry, 87, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home in Brandon.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood with visitation from 10am - 11am.
Interment will follow at Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery, Brandon.

Mr. Lowry was born in Baton Rouge, LA February 5, 1931 to Hiriam H. and Edna Brister Lowry. He served 14 years in the Naval Reserve and because he truly loved working, enjoyed several careers throughout his life. He worked as an IBM Operator for Staple Cotton in Greenwood and retired from Moore Business Forms after 32 years. After retirement he earned his Realtor's License and owned Delta Realty and later formed Lowry Construction. He was a loving and devoted husband for almost 64 years. He loved his girls and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Hiriam Lowery, Jr., Edna Lowry Wroe, Patricia Lowry Hughens, John Lowry and Sylva Lowry Cupples.

Mr. Lowry is survived by his wife, Jessie B. Lowry; daughters, Debbie Lowry Clark (Mitch) of Brandon, MS, Diane Lowry Earwood (David) of Columbus, MS and Brenda Lowry Lee (Jeff) of Birmingham, AL; brother, Robert Lowry of Madisonville, LA; grandchildren, Michelle Clark Armstrong (Jay), Leanne Earwood Tucker (Andrew), David Bradley Earwood (Sally), Kevin Allen Earwood (Ashley), Brandon Lowry Lee (Morgan) and Kelly Anne Lee; and great-grandchildren, Ellen Clark Armstrong, Anna Studdard, Haley Studdard, Anne Lowry Earwood, Eliza Earwood, Davis Lowry Lee, James Oliver Lee, Aden Tucker, and Alston Tucker.
