Glenda Jones Lambert passed away, Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.

She was born on December 18th, 1943 to Scott and Agnes Jones of Parkdale, Arkansas.

Glenda grew up in Arkansas but moved to Mississippi in 1977 when she met her husband of 45 years, Dock Edward Lambert.

Glenda was a founding member of Raymond United Pentecostal Church and attended for many years.

Glenda and her husband, Dock started a dirt work company in 1983 that grew into a lucrative business that today is known as Lambert Backhoe and Dozer Service.

Glenda is survived by her husband Dock Lambert of Raymond; 3 daughters Linda (Bob) Crabtree of Conway, Arkansas; Robin Shipp of Raymond, Mississippi; and Mandy (Joseph) Mitchell also of Raymond.

Glenda had 5 grandchildren; Blake (Nikki) Shipp, Chase (Kristen) Crabtree, Ashlyn Shipp,  Jax and Knox Mitchell. She had 5 great grandchildren: Easton, Carter, Walker, Camden and Ella Ross. She is also survived by her twin sister Linda Myers and her brother JW Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, October 4, 2024, at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, 201 Hinds Blvd, Raymond, MS, at 11:30 AM.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Raymond Cemetery.
