Gayla J. Lovelace, 58, passed away at her home in Pearl, MS on August 16, 2021. Visitation for Gayla will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, followed by a Graveside Service at 3:00pm at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Gayla was born on August 22, 1962 to John and Edwina Lovelace. Growing up in Jackson she graduated from Manhattan high school before moving to Pearl, where she use to be a supervisor at several gas stations. She attended Turning Point Baptist Church, loved to fish and watch her son play baseball. She also loved and cared for many animals.
Gayla is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Susan Lovelace Brown and brother Johnny Lovelace.
She is survived by her son Israel Lovelace, brother Terry Lovelace (Renee), lifelong friend Becky Brown and several nieces and nephews.
