Gabrielle Ann
Buford
January 21, 2010 – December 22, 2023
Glory to God, Gabrielle is completely healed and made whole. She has freedom in her new body and she rejoices in the majesty of heaven. On Friday December 22, 2023, during a beautiful sunset, Gabrielle entered her Father's Kingdom. She earned her well-deserved crown of jewels. Our beautiful girl has been a BRIGHT light for all the world to see. Gabrielle was bold in her faith and she pointed to Jesus everyday. She loved people and wanted to share her Jesus with everyone she met. She was a kingdom girl who was passionate about worship and lived a life full of faith and love.
Gabrielle was born in Hattiesburg, MS on January 21, 2010. She moved with her family to Flowood in 2017, where she attended Flowood Elementary and Northwest Rankin Middle School. She accepted Jesus into her heart in June of 2017, and was baptized that September.
Gabrielle is the cherished daughter to her parents David and Kimberly. A loving sister to her three younger brothers, Gavin, Greyson, and Graham. She is a precious granddaughter to Ralph and Maureen Kinnaird, and Claudia and the late Gerald Buford. Gabrielle is loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Gabrielle was a wildly creative artist which she expressed through painting and song. She was a deeply loyal friend and a fiercely committed teammate and leader on the soccer field. Gabrielle's desire was to become a teacher. She exceedingly fulfilled that role throughout her battle by teaching us about faith, courage, hope, and how to always choose joy. With a smile and a message of hope, she continues to change the world. The message of her legacy is to trust Jesus and know that God has a plan, and that His plan is good. Through even her most difficult days, she chose JOY and continued to walk in bold faith through every situation. She was known to us all as The Joyful Warrior Princess.
