Francis "Frank" Dudley Huber, Jr. passed away peacefully at home February 23, 2023 after a battle with cancer caused by Agent Orange.

Frank was born in Rosedale, MS November 13, 1934. He graduated high school from Chamberlain-Hunt Academy. He entered the military in 1952 and became Chinese translator in the Korean War. Army sent him to Georgetown University where he earned his BA in Japanese/linguistics. The US Army was his life and passion. He served all over Far East, Hawaii and Germany retiring after twenty plus years.

Next, he became US Customs Inspector in Oregon and Georgia. In Georgia became interested in Hospital Chaplaincy and served at Augusta State Hospital. He moved to Mississippi to become director of Mustard Seed. He retired for good in 1996.

Frank loved flying his planes, hunting and especially fishing in the Gulf. Later years, became interested in genealogy. He loved teaching and researching Biblical truth. He was an active member at Parkway Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances D. Huber, Sr. and Evelyn Craddock Huber.

Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anita Jones Huber; his children, Lori Russell (Mike) of Portland, Oregon, Kurt Huber (Rachel) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jeremy Huber (Brandie) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Adam Russell (Mary), Ryan Russell and Ripley Huber; and great grandchildren, June Russell and Hazel Russell.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 3, 2023 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Parkway Baptist Church Senior Ministries.
