Francis Marion Emerson, III (Trey), 53 passed away at Singing River Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS, on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Clinton Cemetery.  Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Emerson was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and grew up in Clinton, Ms.  He graduated from Clinton High School.  He loved music and played the drums in the Clinton High School Band.  Later on, he formed a band with some of his friends.

Survivors include, his mother, Patricia Ann Byrne Emerson; father, Francis Marion Emerson, Jr.; son, Tanner Emerson; brother, Stephen Scott Emerson; stepmother, Faye Emerson; step brothers, Scott D. Gauntt (Barbara) of Madison, MS, and Stuart L. Gauntt (Sheila) of Westville, IN; and step sisters, Sheryl Lynn Willis (Aaron) of McKinney, TX, and Shelly R. Simpson (Clay) of Benton, AR.

The family has requested memorial donations be made to Gateway Rescue Mission, P. O. Box 3763, Jackson, MS  39207.
