Francie, 56, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 5 - 8 PM at First Baptist Church, Clinton. There will also be visitation on Friday, July 6, 2018, from 9 AM until the 10 AM funeral service at First Baptist Church, Clinton. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Francie grew up in Jackson and graduated from Mississippi State University. She worked at Mississippi College, and later at White & Company. She was an active member at First Baptist Church in Clinton. She is remembered for her sweet spirit and as a thoughtful and devoted friend. She lived by her personal mantra, "Choose Joy," even to her last moments.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mason McGrew.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia McGrew of Jackson; husband, Andy Metts of Clinton; son, Adam Metts of Nashville, TN; daughter, Kimzey Metts of Melbourne, Australia; sister, Alice (David) White of Jackson; and sister, Anne McGrew of Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, please make gifts in her memory to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
