Fleda Collins, 87, of Talbot, TN and formerly of Clinton, MS, passed away on Monday, August 1st 2022.

She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Felix Collins, who passed away in 2004.  She leaves behind her daughter Becky Collins Teatro, grandsons Jonathan (Heidi) Teatro and Joseph (Tory Turner) Teatro, sisters Sarah Lancaster, Lois Lee, and Bonnie McElvoy, brother, Frankie McElvoy, and 3 great grandchildren.

Fleda lived life to the fullest.  She had traveled extensively with Felix, other family members and friends.  Fleda was always busy, whether it was baking wedding cakes, quilting, or gardening.  It was a joy to her to give to others and she was always involved in projects that helped others.  She loved to laugh and find humor in life.  She had accepted Christ at a young age and lived out her faith for her whole life.

In lieu of flowers please donate in her name to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research, or Collins' Memorial Scholarship Fund at Mississippi College (Clinton, MS).

The celebration of life for Fleda will be held graveside at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery, Jackson, MS on Friday August 5th at 10:00 am
