Felix "Pete" Foret Sr., 69, passed away on August 18, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on September 3, 1945 in Raceland, LA to Camila and Eula Foret.
Pete grew up in Raceland, LA. He graduated from Raceland High School in Raceland, LA. After high school he started working for Frito Lay and retired after 40 years of service.
Pete married Jo Ann Zeringue in 1965 in Raceland, LA. They were happily married for 50 years. Pete proudly volunteered at delivering food to the elderly. He enjoyed traveling, watching LSU football games, and watching "The Price is Right". He also received countless awards while working for Frito Lay.
Pete is survived by his spouse Jo Ann of Jackson, MS; his daughter Rebecca Foret Harris married to Rusty Harris, his son Felix "Pete" Foret Jr., his sisters Eugenie Foret, Joanna Chauvin, Mary Foret and sister-in-law Sharon Zerigue Taylor, his grandchildren Ryan Harris, Tanner Harris, and Elizabeth Foret and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Camille and Eula Foret and his brother Butch Foret.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 714 Lindale St., Clinton, MS. A visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, Aug. 22, 2015 followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 PM.

Pete was a very joyful man who never met a stranger. He deeply loved his family and friends. He always believed in helping others.
