Ethel Joyce "Mickey" Hickman Landrum
11/1/1927 – 2/27/2021

Mickey, as she was affectionately known by all close to her, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.
After graduation from high school in Kenner, Louisiana, Mickey attended LSU where she obtained undergraduate and Master's degrees in Piano and Organ.

Visitation for Mickey will be held at First Baptist Church in Clinton on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A graveside will follow at the Clinton Cemetery.

Mickey moved to Clinton, MS after graduating LSU and taught organ at Mississippi College.
She also served as church organist for First Baptist Clinton and Mt. Salus Presbyterian Church. She also served as pianist at and attended Edwards Baptist Church.
She enjoyed playing the piano on Sundays at Trinity Rehab in Clinton and spent some time playing on Sundays at Mississippi State Hospital, Whitfield, MS.

Mickey taught many native Clintonians private piano lessons and always enjoyed interacting with each of her students. She played for more local weddings and funerals than her family can remember.
She loved to cook and throw dinner parties and holiday gatherings. She never turned away her daughter and daughter's friends when they begged her to make her famous lasagna.

Mickey was welcomed Home by her husband, Dewitt E. Landrum; her beloved grandson, Clifton Michael Roach; her five siblings, parents, brothers and sisters-in-law, and other family members.

She will be remembered with much love and missed by her daughter, Lynn Landrum Julian (Todd); her great-grandsons, Caleb Michael Roach and Jordan Matthew Roach; her step-granddaughters Skye Riley Julian and Savanna Rae Julian; her step great-grandson Noble Rayden Williams (Skye), her sister-in-law Janelle Landrum Hamilton (Joe Hamilton); and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
