Ernest Ray Holliday, 78, passed away on May 4, 2022 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson, MS.

Ernie was born on April 26, 1944 in Jackson, MS. He graduated from Central High School and was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. He was an Ole Miss Rebels and New Orleans Saints fan especially during Archie Manning's playing days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy R. Holliday and Mary Alice Holliday.

Ernie is survived by his children, Karen Haskins (Rick) of Madison, MS, Ken Holliday of Flowood, MS and Billy Holliday (Angie) of Kennesaw, GA; his grandchildren, Blake Haskins, Austin Holliday and Cooper Holliday; his sister, Sandra Palmer (Jack) of Tennessee.
