Elton Gordon Booth, age 89 passed away at Brookdale Assisted on March 2, 2025.

Elton was born in Shreveport, LA March 2, 1936. He graduated from Doyline High School and LSU with a degree in Petroleum Engineering He lived most of his career in the oil fields of Odessa and Midland, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Thelma Booth; his daughter, Pamela Parker; and his wife, Sue Cowan Booth.

He is survived by his two sisters, Stella Miriam McCormick of West Monroe, LA and Doris Booth Earnest of Clinton, MS; his two nephews, Curt Earnest and Eric Earnest; his niece, Stacie Earnest Breland; and a host of cousins.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Doyline, LA.
