Obituary

Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 80 surrounded by family after a lengthy illness at her home in Edwards, MS.

She was born in Vicksburg, MS to Hugh "Mac" Kearney McManus & Eva Louise Barner McManus. After retirement from H&M Gas, she thoroughly enjoyed crafting, liverpool rummy, bunko and playing games with a feisty and competitive nature. She was actively involved in all of her children's lives. So much so, family and friends of her grandchildren openly addressed her as "MawMaw".

Her unwavering faith has been admired throughout her entire lifespan and serves as the foundation for generations to come. She will forever be remembered for her love of family and faith in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 3 siblings: Carole Walker (Byron), Hugh McManus Jr. and George McManus. She is survived by her 2 children Dona Hales (Mark) and Terry Gray Jr. (Nicole) in addition to her sister-in-law, Eloise McManus; a slew of grandchildren including: Christian (Amanda), Hayden, Gray (Cassidy), Summerlin, Mckaylan, Ella Kathryn, Caleb, Cole, Adalyn, plus numerous great-grandchildren (6+) and a whole host of nieces and nephews.

As she would always say, we love you to the moon and back.
