Elizabeth Ann Brister Beggiani of Madison, 85, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Ann was born on September 17,1937, to Walter Mather Brister, Sr. and Mary Jeanette Arnold Brister. Ann was a native of Yazoo City and a longtime resident of Madison. She was a 1955 graduate of Yazoo City High School and attended Mississippi State College for Women.

Ann's career with South Central Bell spanned approximately 30 years before retiring. Ann was an enthusiastic collector of various treasures as she would call them. But she was always willing to give away whatever she had. Yet she held tight and fiercely to her greatest treasure and that was time, time that she could spend with family and friends always gave her joy. Ann also enjoyed exploring people and would engage anyone in conversation – she wanted to know about you and what made you tick. And once that happened you were her friend and she never forgot you.

Ann is survived by her sister, Martha Ingram, of Vaughan; brother, Bob (Caren) Brister, of Madison; her children William H. (Natasha) Beggiani, Sr., of Richland; Brenda L. (Jimmy) Robertson of Clinton; Christopher Beggiani of Madison; her grandchildren William H. (Hannah Jean) Beggiani, Jr., Katherine E. Beggiani, Hannah Grace Beggiani, Alana R. Porter, Leanna R. Porter, Piper Robertson, and her great grandchild; William H. Beggiani, III

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Haron "Buddy" Beggiani, and brother, Walter Mather Brister, Jr.

Ann was a member of Madison United Methodist Church in Madison, MS.

Visitation is Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, MS. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Cedarlawn Cemetery, Jackson, MS following the funeral service.
