Jack Grisham obituary

On December 31, 2023, E. J. Grisham, Jr. (Jack) passed away at University Medical Center following a brief illness.  Jack was born on March 16, 1953 in New Albany, Mississippi to E. J. Grisham, Sr. and Mary Alice Murphy Grisham.  He attended Jackson Public Schools and was a graduate of Belhaven College.    An avid outdoorsman, Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, and also was an accomplished carpenter who enjoyed working in the construction industry for many years.

He will be missed by his long-time companion, Debbie Smith, his mother, Alice Grisham, two sisters, Beverly Lawrence (Tim) and Suzan Newman (Rick,) 4 nieces, 3 nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, from 1:00 until 3:00 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 114 Burney Drive, in Flowood.
