Eileen Carmel Hehir Lawson passed away at her home on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband John Lawson and her parents Michael and Bridget McNamara Hehir of Kilrush Co Clare, Ireland.

Born in 1940, Eileen was the youngest of 12 children in Cappa Kilrush on the West Coast of Co Clare on the estuary of the River Shannon. She started work at a young age and was a hard worker all throughout her life. She met John in Kilrush her home town in the 1960's, they married in 1968 and their adventure began. They first moved to America in 1969 and lived between England and America for over 30 years before finally settling in Mississippi. She devoted her life to the church and her faith and loved spending time travelling and being with her lifelong friends and neighbors. Her connection to her family in Ireland and the UK was a very important part of her life. The stories she could recall about her childhood and lifetime memories will be treasured by all who knew her. She will be reunited now with her beloved husband John and family.
