Dorothy S. Tullos passed away peacefully on the morning of May 20, 2017. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton from 12:00pm to 1:30pm with a service starting at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Dorothy was born on October 13, 1937, in Askew, MS. After receiving a Bachelors in Education from Mississippi State University in 1958, she spent 28 years passionately teaching and directing the kindergarten program at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, MS. Dorothy had numerous interest and hobbies but her greatest joy in life was taking loving care of her family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father and mother Willie Andrew and Lula Mae Scoggins, and her brother William David Scoggins.

Mrs. Tullos is survived by her loving husband W. Gaylon Tullos; two sons Mike Tullos (Julie) and Steve Tullos; sister Marie Scoggins Graham; five grandchildren, Nathan Tullos (Melissa), Lauren Tullos Fox (Chad), Jenny Tullos King (Seth), Taylor Tullos and Jason Tullos; and two great-grandchildren, Ella and Eli Tullos and nieces Carolyn Graham Parker (Ralph) and Pat Graham Parker (Jimmy).

The family would like to express its heart-felt appreciation to the loving and caring staff at Clinton Healthcare.
