Dorothy "Dot" Britt, 79, of Clinton MS, passed away May 26, 2016.

She was born August 6, 1936 in Meadville, MS. The daughter of Earnest Lamar Robinson and Enola Hill Robinson. She moved to Jackson and worked for the Secretary of State Office until her retirement. Dot was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church. She served many years in the church nursery, went on mission trips and became part of the senior group and senior choir.

Dotty, as she was called by all, is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 22 years, Billy Parker Britt. She is survived by her two sons: Billy P. Britt, Jr. and wife Nancy, and Steven L. Britt and wife Virginia. She has four grandchildren: Heather Stubbs, Will Britt, Matthew Britt and Jackson Britt. One great-granddaughter Chaney Stubbs.

Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Morrison Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11. Graveside services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park.
