Dorothy H. Hamil, 85, passed away on November 11, 2017. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm with visitation beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Dot worked for the MS Employment Security Commission and the Doctors Exchange of Jackson until her retirement. She was a long time member of Lakeland Presbyterian. Dot was a loyal friend and devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved her and her beloved pet Abner.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jack W. Hamil and two sons Emmett O'Neil Hamil and Ralph Stephen Hamil.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Kay Hamil, sister Elizabeth H. Piazza, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
