Dorothy "Beth" Elizabeth Craig, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab in Jackson.

Dorothy was born December 1, 1941, to parents, A.J. and Bessie Earwood. In 1991 she moved to Brandon, MS and accepted a position as a Home Health Nurse at Stahome where she worked for more than 11 years.  Dorothy was a great woman and a loving mother. She married Billy Glen Craig in 1957 and the couple had four children together, including Mary Ester, who died in infancy.

Dorothy was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in church activities for much of her life. She enjoyed gardening, baking cakes, sewing and photography. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Billy Craig of Jackson, MS; son, Nathaniel Craig (Shileen) of Brandon, MS; and daughter, Gwen Stokes of Manchester, TN. She was also blessed with six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; A.J. and Bessie Earwood; son, Cecil Craig of Brandon, MS; daughter, Mary Ester Craig; brother, Len Earwood of Florence, MS; sister, Marguerite Parker of Weatherford, OK and George Ann Laughlin of Batesville, MS.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 5pm – 8pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood and from 9am – 10am on Saturday. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 10am at Wright and Ferguson with burial to follow at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Dorothy Craig's life.
