Doriet Elfriede Hildesheim Harris, 81, passed away on November 5, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton, MS. A graveside service will follow at Spring Ridge United Methodist Church.

Doriet was born June 12, 1937 in Berlin, Germany. She married Nathan J. Harris, III "Jake" on December 8, 1954 in Berlin, Germany. They moved to Jackson, MS in 1956 and then to Clinton, MS in 2005.

Doriet was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Gertrude Braunsdorf Hildesheim; her grandson, Chase Wroten; her sister and brother in law, Christa and Eddie Arndt.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan J. Harris III "Jake"; her children, Monika Updike (Art) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chris Harris of Pearl, MS, Annette Harris of Byram, MS, Elizabeth Wroten (Mike) of Terry, MS, Jennifer Lundquist (Steve) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mark Harris (Felicia) of Mendenhall, MS; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
