On Monday, December 29, 2025, Donna Godbold White, passed away at her home in Raymond, MS after a brief battle with cancer.  Born January 20, 1954, she was the daughter of John and Margaret Godbold.  Donna was married to Frank White and they had recently celebrated 40 years together this past August.

She was Mom to Nathan Welch (Sarah) of Seminary, Kasey Welch-Griffing of Learned, and David White (Melissa) of Covington, LA.  Donna was Nana to Hannah, Ashton (Booda), Destin, Sydney, Kaden, Olivia, Cami, and Levi.  She was sister to Ben Godbold, Tommy Godbold, and Peggy Smith.  All of her nieces and nephews were special to her.  She was preceded in death by her father, John.

Donna graduated from Provine High School in 1972.  She worked for many years at University Medical Center in Jackson with the Ob/Gyn group.  She was an integral part working with Frank as they began Metro Mechanical in 1994.

Her life revolved around family and she was most happy when her home was filled with children and grandchildren.  Holidays were a special time to include extended family for celebrations.  Donna enjoyed crocheting and traveling over the years.

Donna was a member of Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond.  Services will be Friday, January 2 at the church.  A time for visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the funeral at 12 Noon.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mississippi Food Network, 440 W.
