Donna Jo Still, 68, passed into her Savior's arms on Tuesday January 16, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 beginning at 11:00am until 1:00pm with services following at 1:00pm all at Wright and Ferguson funeral home in Flowood. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens cemetery in Pearl.
Donna was born on May 4, 1955 in Jackson, MS the daughter of James Fletcher and Bobbie Payne. She graduated from Pearl High School in 1973 and at 18 years old she started working for Mississippi Farm Bureau. She started as a file clerk and worked her way up to Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President where she remained until her retirement in 2013. She was an active member of her church, Grandview Baptist and most recently Park Place Baptist. She was a long time member of Seed Sowers Ministry where she served the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Always involved in her community, she volunteered to help with Home Care Hospice as well as helping young mothers through Embrace Grace. She was selfless and served her friends and family well.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, James Fletcher; her maternal grandparents, Earl and Vera Hopkins; her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Annie Fletcher; and her step father, George Payne. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bobby G. Still of Pearl; her mother, Bobbie Payne of Lena, MS; daughters, Nikki Shows (Phil) of Franklin, TN; Pam Hunt (James) of Brandon; and Vanessa Ashley of Brandon; her grandchildren; Leah Gilmer (Will) of Pearl; Lauren Williams (Brock) of Pearl; Laney Currie (Jake) of Clarksville, TN; Kailyn Blakeney (Braiden) of Brandon; Madison Hunt of Brandon; Reed and Emma Shows of Franklin, TN; five great grandchildren, Luke, Greer, Eleanor, Kaden and Banks. As well as, her sister, Pattie Sheppard (Mitchell) of Lena, MS; and her brother, Mike Fletcher (Cindy) of Florence, MS; and three nephews, Jeremy, Drew and Shane Fletcher as well as other extended family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Baptist Church, Park Place Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice.
