Debra Elaine Maples, 71, of Clinton, MS., passed away on January 8, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born August 28, 1953, in San Francisco, CA., to the late James E. and Syble L. Maples, Sr. Debra was employed by MagCor Industries in Jackson, MS., in their accounting department. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Maples, and daughter, Melisa L. Griffin.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Michelle A. Ricketts (David) of Clinton, MS.; 4 sisters: Connie M. Lightsey (Lee) of Barney, GA., Sandy M. Morgan (Hershell) of Clinton, MS., Sherie Maples of Valdosta, GA., and Brenda M. Fowler (Greg) of Hahira, GA.; 2 grandsons: Ryan S. Olsen of Ocala, FL. and Brady M. Toske of Jasper, FL., along with several nieces and nephews.
