David Edward Weeks,73, died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Sonny Montgomery V.A. Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Creator in Clinton, MS at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Visitation will immediately follow the service. David was born June 25,
1941, in Jackson, MS. He obtained a B.S. degree in biology from the University
of Mississippi. He also received a degree in electrical engineering from the Air Force where he served as
a second lieutenant. David sang professionally for the New York Opera, Caesar LaMonicas Orchestra,
New Orleans Opera, and the Mississippi Opera. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a former member
with the Capitol Gun Club. He is survived by his wife, Susan Fowler Weeks three children, Tracey Etheridge of Helena, AL, Stephen Weeks of Tulsa, OK, and John David Weeks of Montgomery, AL and five grandchildren. Gifts of condolence should be directed to the Episcopal Church of the Creator.
