David H. Watkins age 70 and a resident of Brandon passed away at MS Baptist Medical Center on February 7, 2020, after a short illness. Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2020, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, MS from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm with a memorial service following at the Chapel at 2:30pm. Burial will be held at Fannin Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. T. J. Porter will officiate. David was an avid bass fisherman and loved working on computers. He was a graduate of Sebastopol Attendance Center and attended East Central Community College. He served in the MS Army National Guard and retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He is survived by his wife, Linda Rawson Watkins; two brothers, Bobby Watkins of Houston, Tx; Don Watkins of Fairbanks, AK; two sisters, Marie Blackwell of Madison, MS and Renae Fisher of Sebastopol, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Virginia Watkins. Pallbearers: Doug Blackwell, Alex Fisher, Adam Boykin, Presley Boykin, +Stephen Leblanc, and Danny Watkins.
